It would seem that the letters sent out by United Healthcare may be a ploy to get people to complain about Ohio Health.

Instead it looks as though United Healthcare’s plan has back fired.

 I found this to be kind of interesting to read, as though Jesus had died today.

So today is my birthday.

I got up at the same time I do most days. Ate my fruitloops while reading PN, gave the dogs their food and then walked them. Nothing special  in any of that just the same old stuff different day. Then I took a shower and dressed (now theres something different. Dressing I mean) and drove up (again something different) to get my drivers license. Yes folks I am good to be on the roads for another few years Look out! Although I do not drive much any more just because it is a bit painful to do so. This is kind of sad because I use to love to drive! I would go out on the back roads in Illinois and just enjoy the country side especially in the summer. One time I remember driving down this road that have a small bridge over a little creek. There was a huge Terrapin turtle in the middle of the road. I stopped to help him off the road before someone ran over him or decided to have him for supper. Another time was driving along and saw this herd of deer. There had to be at least 50 in it.

Anyways…….I really celebrated I guess yesterday since Starfire made his famous Chicken Normandy. This is chicken breast stuffed with apples. It has a breading of minced cashews which you then fry and then bake in the oven to finish the cooking. There is a glorious cream sauce to die for that goes over this. Then I have made my angle food cake with wild strawberry jello and whipped cream.

When did society change so much?
When did it change to where when a person insults another, the person being insulted has to apologize instead of the person making the insult?
That is just so wrong on many levels.

Some how I think that is one of the problems with today’s society. No manners or ethics.

I think many know that I have back problems. (How could you miss it? LOL) I have discs missing in the lumbar and a few herniated plus a twisted vertebrae that have the spinal cord trapped in it and a vertebrae pushing against the spinal cord in my neck which causes my left arm to go numb.

When I first had my discs blow it was the most Gods awful pain I have ever had!!!! Child birth was a joy compared to this! I couldn’t walk so Starfire had to carry me up and down stairs. I could crawl to the bathroom. It took fighting with my Doc to get an MRI done but we finally got one and found out the real cause of the extreme pain.
So my Chiropractor has been trying to figure out how to help get rid of as much pain as possible in my lower back. About 9 months ago he hit on it and the pain has been a lot less up until the last few weeks.
Imagine this…..
Sitting on the toilet, You go to get up, but the pain in your back is so bad you can’t so you have to have help. How embarrassing!!!! At least this isn’t too bad during the day when no one is around. I can at least pull my ass up by using the sink and window sill. (don’t ask).
Oh and getting out of the bath is a trick all in itself!!!! I feel like such an old woman!

Then there is the shoulder coming out of place. The last time I was in my shoulder was popping up on top of my collar bone! Oh yeah that was a lot of fun and the sound of bone grinding on bone! Ooooh baby!

One reason why I am having so much more pain is the insurance doesn’t want to pay what they are suppose to so I have to go less than what my medical Doctor prescribed for me.
I also found out that the only thing that is keeping me walking and not having my vertebras move out of alignment are my muscles. If I am ever in a really bad accident or fall I could be paralyzed from the neck down. Nice thought eh?
Now I am not wanting sympathy all though a bit wouldn’t be bad but I just need to let it be known what is happening. One thing that does keep me fighting is the fact I can do things for others, teach, merchant (sometimes) make stuff and talk with people here.

Starfire and I went on a sudden trip to Shelbyville KY Tuesday Night! There was a Yorkshire Terrier puppy who needed a good home.
After being up all day Tuesday and then all night and all day Wednesday we are fried. Brains are barely working. Body……lets not go there.

So let me get this blog going on the right direction.

I will grip, whine, (please supply the crackers) or just share a laugh (much more prefered) , or talk about some illnesses (of which I would love to have others share their pain and hopefully cures for such.) or just have a sit down and talk a bit.
